Personal Excellence Trainer Leon “The Encourager” Bullard owns MPE Training. He has been a student of personal achievement for over fifteen years, and has worked to help others perform their best since 2002. As an author and speaker, Leon teaches people under pressure how to control stress and achieve healthy and productive routines.
Over his lifetime, Leon has pursued fit living continuously since his youth. A champion track runner, he earned local, state, and national championships before departing Decatur, Georgia to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Later he started his company with a mission to help people live rewarding lives.
Currently, Leon resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and three children. He still runs track as a USA Track & Field masters athlete; his recent success includes nine All-American distinguished performances since 2005. He has served five terms on the Wake County Council on Fitness and Health. His accomplishments include recognition as a USATF coach, fitness trainer, healthy life coach, and a Toastmasters International award-winning speaker.
